4.12.2010 / Reflectors and windows make fashion

Like the title suggests, a window and something to reflect the excess light off of is pretty much all you need to create some nice fashion-ish portraits. Place the model against the window and have him/her hold the reflector (or whatever you got) pretty close to his/her face. Adjust the position of the reflector if and when needed. Focus on the eyes. That's it.

I went out to see some snowboard action yesterday. Being that my experience with snowboard photography is effectively, well, zero, I think these turned out rather "artsy" when compared to other snowboard flicks...

Oh well, have a coke and a smile!

I was deejaying at a Halloween party last saturday, just like last year. A cool place, right by the sea in Espoo. Sadly I didn't have time to stay the whole night, but even so, I had fun. Here are some pictures of the people organizing this fun party :)

8.10.2010 / S|DEFFECT - The END of an era!

Pheew, it's done! Our last party was thrown last friday and it was great! Lots and lots of good deejays, good people and most importantly, good music. I can't believe it's already been two years, basically...

Come December we will know if there's a chance to keep organizing events such as S|DEFFECT next year, so pretty please, keep your hopes and thumbs up if you can! This is what I do for a living, you know :D

In between filming movie clips and running around, I was able to snap a few photos, too. Nothing too fancy, but definitely good memories. Like I said, I was more involved with shooting some decent movie material so I wasn't focusing on photography that much. If you wanna check out a photo gallery made by a gifted photog, check out Timo's gallery! He worked the floor, even when the lights didn't co-operate. Kudos, great stuff!
