The Janitor

I met this man back in 2011. He was the janitor of Plan India's Uttarakhand office and the surrounding area. I visited the place more than once and he was always there - night and day. He always greeted me with a smile and even though we didn't share a common language, we were getting along fine. I would point at the sky and indicate my approval of the weather and he would laugh. I would drink tea, he would drink tea and I think we even enjoyed a relaxing beedi together. I hope everything is fine with him.

Adox CHS25

Tried a new film today. Requires a bit of extra attention in the development phase, but it seems to be worth it. These exposures were guesstimated which leads me to believe that if I actually metered properly, I might get some pretty good results. Oh and the blown highlight on that tall building picture is due to me not agitating the film well enough after I'd poured in the developer chemicals. Tech: Hasselblad 500cm Planar 80mm @ F11 Adox CHS25 shot @ ISO 50 D-76 / eight minutes

I know nobody cares about the technical stuff but that's there to remind me how to do it the next time I decide to pull one of those Adox tubes out of the fridge...
