Essi & Lauri

I got to travel a bit off my usual path last year as I photographed this cool couple in their hoods, so to speak. No urban environments or crowded tube stations but rather beautiful vistas and great people. Congrats, guys!

Japan in the eighties

I came across some negatives my dad made back when he was working in Japan and when I was a very young lad (or I might have not even been yet - not exactly sure). I put these bad boys through the scanner and fixed up the contrast and compositions a little. With that, I welcome you into Japan as it was 20 something years ago!

And to top it off, this is what it must have sounded like back then.

Warsaw uprising

Walking in Warsaw you are constantly around a rather dark era of human history. You won't be reminded of that by something you see but by something you don't see - what used to be here isn't anymore.

The Warsaw Uprising Museum is the place to go if you want visual stimuli of what I just mentioned above. Besides just visiting, reading is also recommended.

A portrait of a friend #1

Just decided to start a new semi-regular series. It is very original and very innovative. I am going to be making photos of my friends. As such, if you consider yourself a friend of mine, rest assured, your turn will come. Should you wish to speed the process up - get in touch. Otherwise, expect me when you least expect me.
